Print Title - "PINE CREEK MILLS"

This photo entitled "A Moment in Time" was made in 1984. I was motoring down Lower Pine Creek Road in Chester Springs at 9 in the morning when I came upon this Currier and Ives scene. Stone house (center) was built in 1801. Joseph M. Clement, noted illustrator for the old Saturday Evening Post, bought the place in l931. There is a dam on the property and a total of seven buildings. Pine Creek flows into the Pickering Creek which eventually finds its way into the Schuylkill River in Philadelphia. Can you spot the cat in the picture?
